The Range Rover Sport Challenge
Our long-standing client, who has trusted us since our mobile detailing days, recently purchased a Range Rover Sport. Initially, he wanted a full paint correction and ceramic coating, but after the car suffered damage in a car park, we reassessed the best protection plan.
After discussing options, we decided that a colour change PPF was the best solution, paired with ceramic coating and underside protection.
The client wanted a unique look—black was too ordinary.
Upon inspection, we found scuffs and stone chips on the front, plus rear bumper damage from the car park incident.
What We Found
During our initial assessment, we identified several issues that needed correction before applying PPF:
- Stone chips and scuffs on the front end
- Damage to the rear bumper from the car park impact
- Corrosion and heavy soiling on the underside

✔ Arranged for the Range Rover Sport to be resprayed at our trusted bodyshop
✔ Refurbished the wheels to restore their original finish
✔ Performed a dry ice cleaning treatment to remove built-up grime and corrosion from the underside
✔ Protected the underbody with Raptor & Lanoguard coatings to prevent future corrosion
✔ Applied a full-colour change PPF, giving the car a bold new look while protecting the paintwork
✔ Deep cleaned the interior for a factory-fresh feel
✔ Finished with professional ceramic coating on all interior & exterior surfaces for long-term durability and easy maintenance
The Results
With the paintwork fully restored and the underbody protected, we installed a custom-cut, full-colour change PPF, ensuring seamless protection and a head-turning new look.
To complete the transformation, we applied ceramic coating across the entire vehicle, sealing in gloss, hydrophobic properties, and effortless maintenance.
